VDC in Warsaw is an edu. and tech. science association. For over 120 years it has been providing education in school and out-of-school forms in the field of upbringing, training, further educ. and prof. development. VDC governs a network of kindergartens, schools, LLL institutions (entry in the reg. of schools and inst. in accordance with the Education Law) located in the maz. and łódzkie voivodeships. Since 2004 it has been a training instit. entered into RIS (VLO), BUR (PARP).
The ed. offer is exploited by individual and institutional clients: employment offices, social welfare inst., NGOs and enterprises. It is tailored to the needs of clients and meets the requirements of the labour market.
It provides high substantive and didactic level, allows to obtain industry/state qualifications. In 2016-19, approx. 24000 students were trained in over 15000 courses. VCD carries out projects co-financed from national and ESF funds aimed at unemployed, employees, employers and youth.
These courses raise the social and prof. competences of adults, professionally inactive, disabled, at risk of poverty or social exclusion, using the instruments of social activation.VDC operate Qualification committees, the Energy Commission confirming qualifications related to the supervision and operation of energy equipment, installations and networks and Welding Comm. VCD has a certificate issued by the Welding Institute, is a founding member of the Polish Chamber of Welding. VCD is entered in: Reg. of entrepreneurs in the field of training on plant protection products, reg. of entities conducting courses in the field of transport of danger. goods and reg. of employment agencies. It runs driver training centres and is a Certified ECDL Lab. It is accredit. as the Regio. Center for Validation, Exam. and Certification. Accred. of the Maz. Superintendent of Edu. in scope of ongoing training. VDC has the ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate in the field of edu. activities in out-of-school and school forms.
