Foundation for the Development of the Education System

The Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) is the only institution in Poland with such an extensive experience in managing several European educational programs. The initiatives managed by the Foundation since 1993 provides the opportunity to acquire both basic and specialist knowledge in a formal and academic, non-formal and practical manner. FRSE In 2007-2013, coordinated the „Lifelong Learning” (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig) and „Youth in Action” programs in Poland. The credibility of the Foundation turned into the trust placed in it by entrusting it with the function of the National Agency of the Erasmus + Program for 2014-2020.

At the same time, the Foundation carries out European information and education initiatives: eTwinning, Eurodesk Poland, Europass, Eurydice and EPALE. It also supports cooperation with the countries of the East through the Polish- Lithuanian Youth Exchange Fund and the SALTO Cooperation Centre with the countries of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. Currently, FRSE is the Operator of the Education Program, which replaced the FSS in the 2014-2021 perspective.
